Outreach Ministries

These organizations reach out to our parish community and beyond. They help us remember what love of neighbor is all about. Please contact the Parish office at 419-893-4848 for more information how to become involved.

Agape Outreach
Agape Outreach is an all-volunteer group committed to helping the homeless and poor by providing meals and basic provisions. Parishioner Pat Dutkiewicz coordinates efforts on behalf of St. Joseph Church. On the third Tuesday of each month, parishioners leave food on the benches in the church doorway for Pat to take to the Salem Lutheran Church which provides a place to fix meals for AGAPE participants. Hundreds of people visit AGAPE for food on a daily basis. Each Tuesday, five St. Joseph women make numerous peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to take downtown to AGAPE. AGAPE, meaning unconditional love, is also an annual recipient of St. Joseph tithing.
